Dinner at Petunia's

Tonight we went to dinner with Nana and Pop at a local restaurant we love Petunia's in Mandeville. It was delicious!! The girls were well behaved and got to try ice cream for the first time!!! They weren't too sure about that!

Abigail was hilarious. She kept closing her eyes every bite she took, I guess because it was cold! She would then open her mouth for more. She was on quite a sugar high for a little while. Just in case you are wondering why we gave them ice cream... the peditrician told us to go ahead and try out yogart, cheese, and a little ice cream to make sure they are not alergic to milk products before we go to whole milk at 1 years old. WOOO HOOO I can not wait until the day we don't have to mix formula again!!

Nana and Pop came over to visit.

It's not Christmas

It's not Christmas, but we are wearing our Christmas PJ's. It is cold here, so we need warm PJ's. Our only REALLY warm Pj's are our christmas Pj's!

Abigail got her upper two teeth. This is number 3 & 4!!! I was tickling her so we could get a good shot of those two teeth!!! YEAH Abigail!! (Poor Amelia still no teeth!!)

A VERY EXCITING MORNING

This morning very early there was a truck behind our house working on the power lines.. it woke up both me and Abigail. They soon left and were on their way. Around 11:00 this morning I was sitting at my computer and I heard a very LOUD BOOM!!!! Soon after I hear the doorbell ringing... my neighbor was telling us their was a fire behind our house. Brian already was on the phone with 911 (ok I have to complain here.. it took over 3 minutes for 911 to answer... I know we are low crime St. Tammany Parish, but COME ON!!!!! That is SUPER scary to me if someone had broke into my house etc.. 3 minutes is a long time and alot of things can happen in 3 minutes!!) Anyway they called the fire department out. They took a while to put the fire out bc they didn't want to drive over the wire that was down. It didn't burn much excpet the brush and the pole so that was good. We didn't have power so we left for the afternoon to go to lunch and run a couple of errands. By the time we came home the power was back on. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the fire and the firetrucks, that would have been much more exciting... for now these will have to do.

This is the transformer that blew up. Brian saw the ball of fire when it blew. He was working at our kitchen table.

Here are the electircal people all standing around --- I guess they were trying to decide what to do... They didn't look like they were doing much of anything!

Daddy is HOME!!! YEAH!!!!!!

The girls were REALLY excited to see Brian when he came home today. Almost excited as I was to have some help this evening fedding them and putting them to bed!!!! We missed you!!!!

Brian was out of town last night and I was REALLY ready for him to come home... this afternoon I told them that Daddy was coming home soon..

Brian and I are trying to be very consistent with NOT allowing the girls to play with the remote control. Today it was on the coffee table and Abigail was just DYING to touch it. She would shake her hand above it but wouldn't touch it.

I said her name and she turned and gave me this look....

Play group today

Today was play date day with Lilly. The girls are really cute together and starting to have alot of fun together. We had a visitor today. Cali-- can't wait for your baby to join us for play group!

Abigail is a wrecking ball!!!

Abigail is a complete wrecking ball!! She pulled over a plant stand on her head. (You can kind of see the red mark on the top right of her head!) Soon after that she turned over my glass of tea on the coffee table. She is just one thing after another lately... bumps, bruises you name it!

Amelia pulls up on things now!! YEAH AMELIA!!!!

Abigail is now standing holding on with one hand, and is starting to cruise around things!!

The Vita family has a Blog

Our good friends Jill and Ricardo Vita have started a family blog. They have a little girl Lilly (if you check my blog often you see her all the time!) Lilly is 6 weeks younger than our girls. We have been getting together since they were born once a week.

Uncle Aub and Beth came by to visit!!!

Yesterday Uncle Aub and Beth (Abigail's godmother and Aubrey's girlfriend) came by to visit us and the girls. Ok probably more to see the girls, but we are just glad they came by! :)

We had lunch and a good visit.

Beth brought the girls some sailor dresses and some swimsuits for the girls for this summer. We put it on Abigail to see how it looked!! At first she didn't know what to think of the grass skirt, but then liked pulling on it!

I think we feel better... We are up to our old tricks!

I tried posting this last night, but the blog site must have been down. The girls were doing much better yesterday. They still aren't 100%, but they are alot better. Abigial is back into EVERYTHING she can get her hands on, and Amelia is starting to smile again. Thank GOD for antibiotics!!!

Not too sure what Abigail is doing with her tounge there but she sure looks funny!

YEP THEY ARE SICK

No pics to post. Both of the girls are sick sick sick!! We went to the Dr. today. Amelia has a sinus infection. Abigail has a sinus infection, both her ears are infected AND has two teeth coming in. Our house is ALOT of fun right now! Just say prayers that they sleep tonight...mommy and daddy NEED sleep!!
