Grandma's garden

Here are a couple of more pictures of the girls at my parents house this weekend. My mom had borrowed a couple of play things from the church to keep them busy and out of the construction zones at my parents house. (Still working on the house since Katrina!) This was what Nana was calling Grandma's garden... They loved the mailbox, and crawling in and out the front door!

Grace's Christening

Yesterday was Grace Anne Parker's christening. Brian is her godfather, and was very honored and excited to be there yesterday! She is just precious and noone can get over how much hair she has!! We love ya'll!!!

The girls first Mardi Gras parade

On Saturday we went to the Diamonhead Mardi Gras parade. My parents have good friends that live out in Diamonhead on the golf course. You walk across the golf course to get to the parade. It's a very small parade, but was a great one for the girls. I am impressed that they are even having a parade after all the destruction from Katrina. It was cold so we had to bundle up the girls. My parents, my sister, and one of her best friends Lori were all with us.

Play group

Today we had play group. We had to change it from Wed. to today because of Abigail's Dr's appointment. They all had a good time playing. Cali also joined us.... very soon her baby will be joining us in play group... The girls can't wait to find out if it's another girl, or a boyfriend to fight over!

Lilly is getting baptized on Sunday.... We are very sorry that we won't be able to attend!!

Isn't it amazing how quick kids learn things... Now every time I pull out the camera Abigail starts closing her eyes like this.... I guess because she knows the flash is coming!! Makes it a little harder to get a good pic, because she keeps doing it!

Yep we strip them down to eat sometimes because they get soo messy now that they are eating some big people food. Last night she learned to sick her tounge out. She kept doing it over and over after you gave her a bite to eat. She was even sticking it out at Amelia! Every day is something new around here!

Nana came over and we played in a box!

Brian went out of town for a couple of days, so Nana came to help me with the girls. It was alot of fun and she always helps me reorganize their clothes, toys, etc. We are getting ready to put a new bar in the girls closet beacuse with the weather changes I don't want to pack up the winter clothes, and we do need some spring type clothes too. SO I give up and need two bars!! Nana decided to put both the girls in a box and had a ton of fun playing with them! Thanks Nana for coming!! I always get a ton of stuff done that I wouldn't have been able to get done without you here!!!

At the Peditrician's office

Yesterday we went for a recheck on Abigail's ears to make sure there was no more infection. We had to wait an hour before we got to see the Dr. This has NEVER happened before the girls were STARVING so we decided to give them a little snack... Yep we even take them to the Dr's office in the wagon... it pretty much goes everywhere!! The little juics cup holders maek good snack holders too!!!! Thanks Nana for helping me get the to the Dr!!!!!

Valentines Day

Brian gave me a dozen roses yesterday. Six of them were hidden around the house with reasons he loved me attached to them. It was really sweet. That evening he gave me six more. He also gave me a memory box. I have kept every movie ticket stub, football game stub, napkins and match books from restaurnats, keys from hotels that I write the date on and location.. you name it I've saved it! (OK I know a little cheesy, but hey I am very sentimental!!) I have quite a collection. I have been keeping it all in a hat box. Brian started making me a box to put it all in BEFORE we got married. Well he finally finished it and gave it to me yesterday!! I also got a gift certificate to our scrapbook store... I can't WAIT to use it!! We ate a VERY yummy dinner at home that we cooked together!!

Thanks Brian you made my Valentines day VERY special!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

We have toothbrushes

We have been using the finger toothbrush, but decided it was time to start brushing the girls teeth/gums with a real tooth brush. I bought them the infant ones and the training tooth paste without flouride. (thanks Shannon for the tip on that one!) Tonight was the second night we used them and I let the girls explore them some on their own. Keep in mind Amelia still has NO teeth. Abigail has four... two top two bottom.
