Yesterday was the annual Pre-March for the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club. Brian has been a member of the club now for 15 years. He got the rest of his family involved, and now it is a Spreen family event every year! The actual parade is next Saturday, but they have a "practice" march every year. (Which is really a pub crawl and an excuse to drink a whole lot!) There are many of us that meet our husbands or boyfriends near the end of the pre-march at a local restaurant called Frankie and Johnnie's. We feed them to sober them up and bring them home to put them to bed. Yesterday my mom watched the girls while I went and met everyone for dinner and brought Brian and Bill Parker back home. There will be many pics of next Saturday's parade. I know the girls will love it!
