What a week!

WOW what a week we have had. Monday night I came down HARD with the flu. It has been TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I had 103 fever for almost 3 days and I couldn't lift my head hardly off the pillow. After Tamiflu and a cortizone shot in my rear I was doing better!
Thank god the girls had their flu shot.... I will every year from now !!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER want to have to go through this again.
Friday I was supposed to ride in Eve...we got rained out so we ride tommorrow. I am feeling even better than I did Friday so I know I will enjoy myself! Just wish I could get rid of this lingering cough!
Anyway...here are some pics I took almost a month ago..... I LOVE the one's of them laughing (the part you can't see is that they are laughing at their Daddy! He can make them laugh at the drop of a hat! They just adore him!)
Speaking of....thanks Brian you truly have been my knight in shining armor taking care of me, the kids, the house, and my parade stuff this week!

7 YEARS TOGETHER.....

Last weekend was our 7 year anniversary. Brian booked us a room at The Battle House It was an AMAZING Reinisance. (Thanks Angela for helping with those reservations!) I didn't do a very good job of taking pics while we were there. Jennifer gave us some GREAT ideas of where to go and eat etc. Jennifer you were pretty much our silent tour guide for the entire weekend.
We ate at A spot of tea, Felix's Fish Camp and Wintzell's and the Old Dutch Ice Cream shop. I know they were some of your favorites while you lived there and they DEFINITELY were all VERY yummy!
We had a great relaxing weekend! Doing not much of anything but eating, sleeping, and ust hanging out. It was a VERY nice and relaxing weekend -- something that is a treat for us!
Thanks Brian--
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful these past seven years have been for me! The best of my life! I hope I make you as happy as you make me!

Ready for Mardi Gras

A couple of weeks ago I went to go get my throws for my Krewe of Eve parade (Yes we still had up Christmas stockings then...it WAS a couple of weeks ago :)

The girls were HILARIOUS!! They were very mild for the video though. They are READY for Mardi Gras. It's been a little difficult to keep them out of all my loot.

I had my ball last night...I haven't pulled my camera out today to see if we got any pics, but will post those soon!

National Champions LSU

Brian and I were VERY lucky and got to attend the BSC National Championship game earlier this week. We went with Brian's brother Ernie and wife Liz. It was alot of fun! I only took my little crappy camera again ( I need a good little camera...my REAL camera is just way to big to take to functions like this!) Liz sent me some pics of us tailgating and a few of her and Ernie, but I can't get them to load so I will try to add them again tommorrow.

Dr. John

Brian's christmas present from me was a suprise this year......... Dr. John tickets at the House of Blues. He was REALLY suprised when he opened them up!
We went and had dinner at the House of Blues and somehow ended up with VIP treatment (Thank Aunt Carol for the tip...you didn't even know you were getting us the VIP treatment!) Somehow when Brian called to make dinner reservations that asked if he wanted the dinner package which included a dinner voucher (that we easily spent) and FREE reserved seats! If you have ever been to the House of Blues you know that is a big deal! We had a seat on the balcony in the very front with our name reserved on it and even had security escort us there. I don't think we were really supposed to have availibility to this...we think it might have been for foundation people only, but hey we are not complaing.
We had a BLAST!!!!!!!

Before leaving to go to dinner and the concert.
I had my small very crappy camera with me...here is one of the only pics I got of Dr. John. I had alot of fun just enjoying the show!
We then met up with a ton of Brian's friends from High School at the Rusty Nail for a suprise party for Jude. I didn't take the camera out there, but should have there was so many people there. We ended up having a VERY late night for us, but had sooooo much fun!
Thanks MeMe and Paw Paw for watching the girls!!!

Celebration in the Oaks round 2!!

Since it was so crazy the first time we went-- we HAD to go back! The girls were soooo excited to be going back! We started out on the Aligator again. Abigail was excited to get up there... Amelia told us no way!

We then went and rode the carousel. Daddy jumped on a horse while I held onto the girls and took pics! They thought it was so funny that he was on the horses too!

We then headed to jump on the train. We didn't get to ride it last time so they were really excited about riding it!
Daddy and Amelia on the train.
Mommy and Abigail on the train.

Some fun sister pics in the stroller.
They really do love each other most of the time.

We finally got to play in story land.
A princess in her castle.
Gotta give the gnome some love.

Peek a boo
A princess with a princess.
Abigail was going to go to sleep with Sleeping Beauty...she is so funny sometimes!
Two princess await their carriage ride.

They had so much fun -- We can't wait until they have the riding tour back so we can take the girls on a carriage ride. That is where Brian propsed to me and since Katrina they haven't had the carriage rides...hopefully in the next couple of years!!
