Last Three days of Swimming lessons

OK so I took ALOT (I think close to 1,000) during swimming lessons. The girls learned sooo much! I HIGHLY reccomened this swim instuctor (of course Shannon you are still the best!) They both learned to kick their legs and move their arms under water, learned to jump in and swim to the top, blow bubbles, hold their breath under water, swim to the edge of the pool and pull them selves out of the water on the edge, and swim under water come up for air and then go back under! Meredith said that they did EXCELLENT for two year olds and did way more things than any other two year olds she has had in the past! I think I have to fish on my hands! I will post some videos soon!
There are the quite a few, but it's not all 1,000! :)

Na Na's Birthday

I never got a chance to post these. A couple of weeks ago my mom came over to help me get stuff ready for the Mom's of Multiple's garage sale. It was was her birthday so we had to make her cupcakes. I let the girls do EVERYTHING! I thought my mom was going to die laughing!! See my mom didn't let me even really "help" cook when I was a child or teenager. She has ALWAYS taken the spoon away from me or my sister if we were even helping stir. I didn't know how to cook hardly anything when Brian and I got married. I decided that I want my girls to be able to cook EVERYTHING when they get married. They make a HUGE mess, but it really is kind of funny and a GREAT learning experience for them!! Nana told me that hey I learned something from her..to let my kids cook! She sure did have a good time laughing at them! NaNa hope you had a GREAT bithday!

I didn't get pics of them while mixing...It's too hard to take pics of that while I am handing them everything. Notice how clean they are....

Nana let them lick the beater.

YUMMY!

Here is the cupcake Abigail was putting the batter in.

Here is what she looked like!

Amelia had a COMPLETE melt down when they went in the oven. It was pretty funny!

The girls sang Happy Birthday to Nana.

After a change of clothes we really enjoyed the cupcakes!

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Here is a couple videos of the girls singing. They are pretty short, but REALLY cute. Amelia is definitely the camera ham!!
Amelia is the first one and Abigail is the second one!

I know my sounds of letters.

I week ago I taped the girls saying different sounds of the letters. Yes the girls know their letters and know the sounds they make....Thanks to an AWEOME video that I reccomend to ALL moms and dads of toddlers. Leap Frog Letter Factory Phonics. They learned them all by watching this video in the car for a week. (It was Mardi Gras week and we were traveling back and forth across the lake alot!) They picked up on it in a week!! It just amazed me. Sorry you can't hear some of the sounds....make sure to turn your volume all the way up.

DADDY JOINED IN SWIMMING LESSONS ....UNPLANNED

So can you guess who jumped in the pool besides Amelia and Abigail????
DADDY!!!!!!!!
No Brian wasn't planning on swimming today, but Abigail had other plans!
It's a long story, but one worth reading!
Did I tell you the reason why we are doing swimming lessons? My kids have NO fear of the water and they scare me all the time! Ms. Meredith told me yesterday that almost all of her two year olds cry alot of the first week. Not my two.....
She tells them they have to sit on the top step in the pool (look at the pics from yesterday that they are sitting in the water on the step!) Well today Abigail was getting brave and stepping down onto the second and third step while Ms. Meredith was working with Amelia. She wasn't paying attention and she stepped off of the thrid step which put her way over her head. Can I tell you not a sound was made. I definitely know now how kids drown so quickly. Ms. Meredith was still 15 feet away with Amelia in her hands so she couldn't dive and swim like crazy..the life gaurd was too busy gaucking at the teens laying out, so Brian RAN and jumped in. (I think he's going to have to get a new cell phone tomorrow!) She came up and cried, but didn't even start coughing or sputtering!! She had held her breath!!!!!! I was soooo amazed. She was even trying to swim to the surface!!! Brian handed her back to Ms. MEredith and she was ready to go again! She is one crazy swimming girl that is going to give me a heart attack!!!
To top it off at the end of the lesson...Amelia jumped in when she wasn't supposed to!! Thank god Ms. Meredith was right there so she just scooped her up!!!
They are going to scare me to death!!!

Today they had fun jumping in the pool and swimming!
Yes that is Brian without his shirt on in the backround after he saved Abigail!

Ms. Meredith made them move to the VERY top step to wait for her now!!

Playing with Ms. Meredith in the fountain at the end!!!

I think we have two swimmers on our hands!!!!!
