27 Dresses

Well it's not the movie and it's 26 to be exact. This is what I have been doing all weekend......
I am trying to get all the girls dresses sewn for the Fall before my CRAZZINESS of Fall photo shoots begin.
Most of you knwo it's somewhat of a hobby dressing the girls for me. Now that I get to sew their clothes too it is just SOOOO MUCH FUN!! I am not planning on buying much for this fall. (I have a few things that were bought at the end of winter last year, and clothes they still fit in.. but all we will really need is shirts to wear under the dresses and tights.)
The girls get so excited with every fabric I pull out! Abigail FLIPPED over the giraffe print fabric and is dying to already wear it even though it's not done. My girls LIVE in dresses, and would pick a dress every day if they were the ones who had the choice. They think I am crazy when they put on shorts to go to soccer! I figure they aren't going to want to wear dresses forever so until then...dresses it is.
This will also be the last year that they will wear regular clothes to school. The next year it will be uniforms :( sniff sniff!!!!
No the dresses aren't done.... ONnly the side seems. Alot of them will be reversible, some are shirts and not dresses. ALOT of them are being sent off to my monogram lady! I have almost firnished 2 sets of dresses, but the rest needs to be sent off or a lining needs to be cut out.
I have quite a bit more I am doing for the fall, but they will be other patterns that I am going to try out.... wish me luck!!! :)
Back to sewing........

I love those fabrics!

If I do have a girl, you're going to have to teach me how to sew :-)

Cute fabrics!!! I wish I could sew... I think I'd through the machine out the window without finishing a single dress. lol.
Have fun sewing (and dressing the girls!).
