As the girls say ---- YEAH DADDY!!!!!

Today Brian dicarded the 35 pumpkins in our yard left over from the fall shoot and started decorating for Christmas. He did a GREAT job! He got almost half of the house done (we have to put lights all the way around our house, bc you drive all the way around our house to get into the neighborhood. When it got dark tonight we took them outside to see the lights. Their reaction was ooohhhhhh. They loved them. They really liked the reindeers and trees!

This was Amelia's intial reaction!

I thought this was funny--- this one's for you Shannon. We still have our scarecrow up. I guess we aren't sure what holiday it is around here!! :)

Thanks Me Me for watching the girls today while I worked so Brian could work on the house stuff!! I REALLY appreciate it!! I know the girls had alot of fun playing with you!!!

Last night we went to Loop Drive Trailhead for the lighting of the lights and water tower :) They also were doing the ribbon cutting for the new Kids Connection playground. It is an amazing playground that is completely handicapped accessible. There are some parents with special needs children who made it happen!!! It's been in the works for quite some time and we were REALLY excited to see it open. (It's less than 2 minutes from our house! We will be spending a TON of time there!!)

We borrowed Santa's sleigh!

This is Daddy riding with the girls on one of the rides. They are in a firetruck. I would have put one of him looking, but he looked mad in all of them! I think the girls were much more excited than him!
Check out Amelia's face!! They loved all the lights!

We all had a great time, even though it was freezing cold!! We even got to find the tree that we made ornamnets for that is the Mom's of Multiple's tree!! They've turned this event into a very nice one. If you live on the Northshore go check it out. It's a mini Celebration in the oaks. (now it is mini, but it was fun!)

This is how much the girls loved the park.....

We went to leave and this is what happened.

Ready for Hot Cocoa!

This morning my one photo shoot I had booked cancelled bc of the cold weather (it was a 5 week old and it was a little chilly to be taking pics of a 5 week old outside at 10 in the morning!) Don't worry I had two others booked this afternoon. Since I had my morning free I started decorating our house. The girls had a blast helping pull everything out of the boxes...this was one of their favorites.... they are ready for hot cocoa on Christmas Eve :)

Abigail would pretend like she was drinking and then go Yummmmmm.

Amelia pretending that she is drinking!

What a mess...I know they look like rag a muffins! In their Pj's again without their hair fixed. Sorry I don't have much time to get things done...this was so cute I had to grab the camera!

Lost SUPER GROVER............

Reward to the person who finds Super Grover.

He disappered soon after we decorated the tree....hmmmm??? Where did he go?? Look he's in quite a few pictures below.........I'll let you know the status of Super Grover! I am sure we will find him in one of our shoes or something else in a week or two!

Christmas traditions....

I grew up with having my own christmas tree in my room...it definitely didn't start until I was much older, but I wanted the girls to have their own tree starting this year.(My thought was maybe they would leave the big tree alone if they had their own to play with!) I can't even begin to tell you how much they LOVE their tree. They scream, jump and turn in circles when we turn the lights on. They say "light please" when they want you to turn it on, which is first thing in the morning. We leave it on for them to go to sleep and then go in and turn it off later. (so the lights are on pretty much all day! ) They love telling you what each ornament is. They pull them off all day long and someone (not sure who, but kind of think it was Ms. Abigail) has already knocked it over. When I asked them what happened Abigail spoke up and said "UHOH"......Hmmmmm do you think she is tattling on herself??

Posing in front of the tree after we decorated it!
Gryffin and Neville (AKA No No as the girls call him) joined in the festivities.
Abigail LOVES to sit in front of it and look at all of her ornaments.
Decorating the tree.
Look mom..

Thanks MOM we LOVE our new tree!!! ( I know amelia's hair is out of control. It was first thing in the morning when we decorated and it hadn't been brushed or pulled out of her face yet!)

It's official I AM A MINIVAN MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES I am now a proud owner of a minivan. Those of you that now me well know that I have wanted one since the day I found out I was pg with the twins. Today we bought a 2004 Honda Odessy. I am sooooo excited. I LOVE it!!!!!! It has the automatic doors which was a major selling point for me. I won't have to let go of the girls hands to open the doors now. I can push the button on my key chain before we start to walk out to the car and the door will open! It always scares me to death to let go of one of their hands that they will try to dart into the parking lot at school!!!
These aren't the greatest pics but you get the point....(sorry it was getting dark outside, and I need an external flash for my camera at night time...hint hint santa!)

The girls loved walking all around inside!!!
Amelia ready to drive!!!
We LOVE our new van mom!!!!!

Thanks Meme and Paw Paw for watching the girls on such short notice yesterday and today!! We really appreciate being able to go look and buy the car without the girls!

Up and......

Pajama time

This is the girls yesterday morning in their pj's hanging around the house.

Can you believe how much hair she has??

This is Abigail's favorite new past time.....sitting in the book basket while she reads her books...notice that there is a chair next to the basket, but she would rather sit in the basket.

Sweet Girls......
