I have poured water straight over the girls heads since they were born. I was always a fish as a kid, and was never afraid of the water. I REALLY wanted them to love the water as much as I do.
Last night Amelia figured out she could pour the water over her head herself. She would pour most of it out before she got to her head, but she thought she was hilarious!

Awww, I think we have those same little cups, with the holes on the bottom? Nicky loves to hold them over Alex's head like it is raining. I don't think Alex likes it though.

Since you talked about pouring water over their head (in a previous blog) I started pouring water over Jacob's head in that manner. The first couple of times he didn't like it.
Now, it doesn't bother him. He just shacks his head.

I'm definitley going to do the same thing...it makes sense, if you get them used to being splashed, they won't freak out later on if they fall in a bit of water or something. Who knew your blog would have such good mommy advice??
